I love the wisdom of Starbucks

The Way I See It #253

A mautre person is one who can say: My parents may have made some mistakes raising me, but they did the best they could: now it's up to me.

Harry Potter Book 7

I'm just letting everyone know. I do not want to know the ending of this book, please don't ruin it for me. I have been waiting for a long time to find out what happens so I am not looking at any information regarding the book, do not link spoilers to me, or post them in places where I can read them. I don't even plan on reading anything on the internet from the minute the book comes out until I'm finished reading it, because I don't want to know. I want it to be a surprise! So please please please, don't ruin this for me!

Thanks Guys.

Tear Drops On My Guitar

It's amazing how you can break up with someone, and then someone you've never even met can write you the perfect song.

Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see
That I want and I'm needing everything that we should be
I'll bet she's beautiful, that girl he talks about
And she's got everything that I have to live without

Drew talks to me, I laugh cause it's so damn funny
That I can't even see anyone when he's with me
He says he's so in love, he's finally got it right,
I wonder if he knows he's all I think about at night

[Chorus:]

He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do

Drew walks by me, can he tell that I can't breathe?
And there he goes, so perfectly,
The kind of flawless I wish I could be
She'd better hold him tight, give him all her love
Look in those beautiful eyes and know she's lucky cause

[Repeat Chorus]

So I drive home alone, as I turn out the light
I'll put his picture down and maybe
Get some sleep tonight

He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only one who's got enough of me to break my heart
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do
He's the time taken up, but there's never enough
And he's all that I need to fall into..

Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see.

Final Destination 3

These movies just keep getting more and more disturbing. The first two were quite interesting the third one just seems to be full of gore with no point.

Pan's Labyrinth

This movie was nothing like I expected. The metaphor throughout the movie, was beautiful and amazing. There were definitely a few parts I found disturbing because I wasn't expecting it. But the cinematography and the idea behind the movie was fabulous. A lot of people will shy away from this movie because it's in Spanish and it requires reading the subtitles. But I promise you after the movie starts you become so focussed on the story you forget that your reading the subtitles. I would recommend this movie for anyone, except children.

Things to do this summer.

So this is a list I made back in April of things I would do this summer. I haven't done any of them. Not one single one. The NUCS project has been canceled, so that one doesn't count. I haven't seen any movies, or gone exercising like I had planned. I have definitely cut back on smoking, but have not quit. I am actually working at night so I have spent no time basking in the sun, and the only book I have checked out from the library is Bea wolf , although I have read several short stories and discovered that I actually enjoy Falkner. I haven't painted or drawn anything, but I have been concentrating on my writing skills, so it looks like I have side swiped my summer to do list. But I've been enjoying myself, so OH Well.

1. Work on N.U.C.S. project.
2. Continue to improve my painting skills, and complete at least 2 paintings.
3. Continue to draw.
4. Read 1 book by T.S. Eliot
5. See Spiderman 3 with my dad.
6. See Harry Potter 5
7. See Shrek 3
8. Spend lots of time basking in the sun.
9. Try to go for a walk every night.
10. Quit smoking again.

I Have A Total Girl Crush!

Holly Madison

Holly Madison is absolutely gorgeous. The more I watch The Girls Next Door. The more I find myself smitten by her. She is intelligent, business savvy, and seems like such a nice person. Plus her bio paints a picture of a normal American girl who just made her way to the top, honestly.

So It's been awhile

I have been insanely sick. This sinus infection is totally kicking my ass. I turned 28, my birthday sucked, no one came to hang out with me, not even my friends in town, I did get a booty call at like 3:00am. But it required me going over there. Oh well, it was worth it. I got through my first summer school class which was Creative Writing, and I absolutely loved the class. I had so much fun, and I'm going to miss having all those people to talk to every morning when I get off work. Tomorrow morning I start speech and with it a whole new group of people to chat up. I haven't Mr. Anybody yet this summer, I was kind of hoping someone would cross my path, but I have had no luck. And there are days I wake up or go to bed, and I wish there was someone with me. Thats life I suppose, and my relationships have always been few and far between, so it may be I don't find that next person till I'm on the next train oughta here, which mean being single for a year and a half, but I suppose there are worse things. Anyways I know there is not to much exciting stuff happening right now, but I wanted to update so I don't get out of the habit of writing. I tend to blog too much when I'm pissy and have things to bitch about, but then when life is treating me good, I tend to not blog at all. I would like to make it a 50/50 effort. Looks like I just set a new goal for myself. And whats up with this Paris Hilton thing? I am starting to feel sorry for her. And I think it's out of annoyance at the media. Let it go already, I can't say no one cares because if we didn't we wouldn't be flipping through the tabloids everyday, but flashing it across every major news station is a bit ridiculous, as it throwing someone in jail on a probabtion violation first offence. And then letting a Violent repeat offender like Tom Sizemore, off the hook again and again. As long as we keep shoving cameras in their faces, justice will never be blind, and will never be equal. Anyways Peace out, I need pizza and cold medice. Yeah Baby!
